About our website

Then and Now

Over the last decade our old website adhered to the HTML 4 specification in an effort to make sure that every browser could access our content. Times have changed and we really wanted our new website to take advantage of all the features of modern web browsers. Our new site adheres to the HTML5 specification and takes advantage of CSS3 and Javascript, as well as the jQuery and other frameworks. This allows for new ways to present information and also lets our content work well on tablets and cellphones.

Which Browser?

Our new website should work on many different browsers without any difficulty. Some browsers such as Internet Explorer present some unique challenges, but we have done our best to address them.

It is very important to us to make sure that all of our content is accessible by all of our users. We have made every effort to ensure that our website is AODA compliant Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

Multilingual Support

Using the latest translation tools available, we have tried to make our content accessible in many different languages. These tools are not perfect, but is our intention to include as many different users as we can.

About ACS

The first version of Accountable Care Systems was developed in 1995 and was dedicated to providing a suite of accountability tools to agencies caring for children and adults.

The software has kept pace over time as technology has evolved. The current version of ACS is a cloud based web application that runs on multiple devices. It employs AES-256 bit encryption to protect client data in addition to other security elements.

Our software concentrates on all facets of an agency's operations to ensure that they are in compliance with all Ministry rules and regulations. Numerous agencies have passed Ministry reviews as a result of using the software to maintain their required documentation.

ACS is user friendly with a very intuitive interface. We provide free training and on-going technical support to ensure a positive software experience for all our users.

You only pay for children or adults who are active in your agency. Clients that have been discharged or dormant are hosted free of charge. You may have as many staff users as you need with no additional expenses.

All upgrades to the software are free and we ensure that all documents are in compliance with the most current legislation.
